Recently I’ve been hearing about these Fireside Reading audiobooks and how enjoyable they are. They’re supposed to be like it was when families would sit around the fire, the table, in the living room together and listen to a story being read or told out loud. I remember experiencing this when I was younger and doing that some with my little kids now and this audio is very much like that. It gives that kind of feeling and leaves you with warm fuzzies of being cozy together with others while listening to an enthralling story.
I’ve read and heard Alice in Wonderland before, but never quite like this. Both I and my kids enjoyed listening to this a lot with how well the audio is done, the experience you have while listening and how well Gildart Jackson does as the narrator doing all the voices and bringing the story, the world, and the characters to life.
Alice in Wonderland is a timeless classic about the little girl, Alice, going on her adventures chasing the white rabbit, changing sizes, meeting the Mad Hatter, and talking to all the unique characters in Wonderland. The narration and audio of this are incredible and extremely well done. Listening to this audio makes the story that much better.
I highly recommend checking out and listening to this audiobook and all of the Fireside Reading audiobook series too. Thanks so much to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for letting me listen and review this ALC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
